Pagosa Weather

Mountain golf is some of the most spectacular golf the country has to offer.  The prisitine mountain views backdrop, manicured golf course fairways and greens that run through Ponderosa Pine forests and surrounded by lakes.

Please note that weather in Pagosa is unpredictable and forecasts are not necessarily accurate.  Due to our 7500′ elevation, topography and geographic location, forecasted weather can be inaccurate at best.  Example would be a 100% rain forecast means that there is a 100% chance of getting rain in the area but it does not mean that it will rain on the golf course or at all.  Showers can last 10 minutes, blow through, then be sunny on either side of the storm.  The course may remain open for play even if it is raining.

Like any mountain outdoor activity you need to be aware of your surroundings at all times and take appropriate action to protect yourself  against rain, snow, cold, lightning and other weather related phenomenon and to play in weather that is appropriate to your comfort level, you are solely repsonsible for choosing to remain on the course and play.

We do not make any claim regarding weather conditions on the day you are booked to play and due not issue rain checks based on future weather forecasts.  Playing in the rain is normal for golf.  Our rain check policy is in affect if  heavy precipitation sets in and lasts longer than 45 minutes or if we decide to close the course.
